This is the story of Arden, a young artist who leaves the chaotic Marseille in the middle of the summer to settle into the peaceful Le Grau-du-Roi in search of her lost inspiration. This is the story of Amande, a middle-aged woman tormented by a mysterious crackling sound, who sets off on a winter journey through the Balkans in search of her own ghosts and those of an entire generation. This is the story of a daughter and a mother who try with all their might to build a dialogue that, between them, has never existed.
